The Powick & Callow End 2006 Grand Scarecrow Festival took place on the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September. A total of 88 local entries were scattered across the two villages, photos of which can be found following the links at the bottom of the page.
A total of £1,100 was raised in aid of a memorial garden for all denominations at St Peter's church. A further £325 was raised from an accompanying art exhibition.

The winning scarecrows are featured in the photo gallery below. Just hover your mouse over the image to see a larger picture. The overall winner entitled "Isaiah Tatty Head" was submitted by The Griffiths Family from Malvern Road.
